Island Vrgada

Small island in the Sibenik’s island between islands Pasman and Murter. Part of land is covered with wood, especially on the northeast. Southwest coast is steep, but on the northeast are bays with sand beaches. The highest one is Strabinova (112). Between two parallel lines of hills is lowland.

Vrgada is only one village on the island. Around a village are pines trees and sand beaches. First information about village (as Lumbrikaton) is from 10th century. Above the cemetery are reminds of defenses wall.
